30 Journals 30 Days

•How long have you been Art Journaling?

I am currently working on my very first art journal.

•How has Art Journaling impacted, changed, or enhanced your life?

It's very theraputic both emotionally as well as creatively. It really allows a person to create freely without being overly controlling or worried about the outcome.

•What are a few of your favorite Art Journaling materials?

So far my favorite is using Sculpey embellishments and papier mache'.

•Who are some of your favorite Art Journalers?

I recently discovered Juliana Coles and there are many from Youtube that have greatly inspired me like SuziBlu and Willowing.

•What kind words of encouragement would you say to an Art Journal newbie?

You have stumbled into an art genre' that truly wants you to be simply yourself...enjoy it!

•Where can we contact you...give us some link LOVE!!

•Short Bio.

I am 39 years old, married and have 2 sons, one 14 and the other 18.

My mom, Corliss Ann Eden, is a mostly self taught artist who owned and operated a matting & framing art gallery. Early on, she taught me many of the skills I still rely upon today. Watching her paint as a child and being surrounded by her wonderful works both inspired me and drew me into the art world forever.
